El Kaptian & the Hofmeister Bear - discuss
So I'm sitting watching a fantastic show that Cherryfox, Delilah Dufoe, Glorian Gray and several unbelievable extras (who almost stole the show) put on at the Appleby Burlesque last night (next show April 19th - be there) and...........
I'm watching El Kapitan strut his stuff, do some dad dancing and generally entertain and suddenly it comes to me where I've seen him before (and I realise that this is initially going to be lost on many of you youngsters) - But he is the Hofmeister Bear from the 80s Follow the Bear adverts in human form!! Without a doubt.
So I mentioned this to El Kapitan at the end of the show, and seeing as he's easily young enough to be my son, he has no idea what I'm talking about!
So it's up to you, the jury to decide:

Yes Tempest, it;s just you, get your eyes tested ;-)
Seriously - apart from the hat I can't see it. And I do agree with CF that the bear does look a bit like Roland the Rat (who I remember fondly, though not the bear ...)

You should have seen the uncomfortable 'I almost dont want to be up here doing this' dance he did during his and Cherryfox's duet on Sunday night. Trust me, he looks like the Hofmiester Bear and DANCES like him.
Mind you, I think his lookalike Vlad bears an uncanny resemblance to Alexsandr the Meerkat from meercat.com :: this domain is for sale
