Thread: Bleurgh

I've caught this dratted lurgy and feel worse than I can remember for a long time. Anyone else had this one (people @ my work have and they say it's floored them )

So, anyway...feeling sorry for myself...

I had an odd experience yesterday. I was at Hot Muffins in the evening and felt fine. On the train home I got a bit... wooh. Just not myself and a bit scatty. As soon as I got out of the train I was fine though.

Went home, got into bed, all fine. Then suddenly I felt really hot and dizzy, and thought I would be sick at one point. It got better when I sipped some water, lasted about half an hour and then just went again.

I'm absolutely fine again today.

I've got lurgy too I haven't been this ill for a long time & the worst thing is it came from nowhere!!

bleugh, we should start a club for sick people who are feeling sorry for themselves! anyone else wanna join?

Agreed...our group drink can be Lucozade and our food can be chicken soup...

Meh, this is 'orrible...and I'm bored out of my mind...

(also because I slept all day, I'm now wide awake and coughing like an old lady...it's a very attractive look, I promise...)

I've never felt so un-burlesque and glam in my entire life...

I had some weird thing yesterday where I felt incredibly tired all day. I couldn't wake up enough to concentrate. My boyfriend felt it too, so I have no idea what that was!

I'm really tired today too. I'm much better now but couldn't get to uni this morning Sounds like I have whatever you had.

It's really rubbish! The other week I had horrible nasal congestion followed by a really nasty sore throat too. :-/ I hate this time of year!!!

I have it too, has come at the worst time as I had 3 hours sleep after a gig on Sunday, an interview at 10 the next day on the other side of the country, and a class to teach this morning. Grarg. Am supposed to be tidying the house now but might just lol around instead!
