Is there a theme? If not, here's some off the top of my head...
Cowgirl - checked shirt, jeans or denim skirt, boots, plaits and a hat/waistcoat/neckerchief if you have one. And you could make a sheriff badge if you're crafty.
A Spy - A trenchcoat, sunglasses, maybe a folder with "Top Secret Dossier" written on it and underneath a glamourous outfit like a bond girl. Give yourself a fake name and maybe a CIA or FBI or MI5 style "badge" using a passport holder or a folded piece of card.
A Thief - A stripy jumper or tee shirt (or a old white one with arrows drawn on it), black trousers and a bin bag marked "swag" full of scrunched up newspapers. Draw on or make a black mask for your eyes!
It also really depends what things you have in your wardrobe, both normal clothes and random things too. Think if there's anything that could double up as a prop or starting point for a theme.
Hats are a good idea generator as are a pair of boots... could they be cowboy? pirate? 80? vamp? What do they make you think of?
Have you any destinctive clothes in your wardrobe that make you think "hippy" "80s" or something else?
If you get an idea and you want some help fleshing it out- let me know...

D'oh. Just read the date of your original message.
I spent ages on that too. Grrr for my lack of observation skills.
