best paint for pianting plastic with
I have a daunting task of making a water fountain stage prop out of a hard plastic kiddies paddling pool. I have got as far as sanding it down but have no idea what to paint it with to make it look Greecian. Sould i use some kind of base coat and will conventinal paint melt it?

I would have thought that car touch-up spray paint should do this - but remember to spray outside as it reeks!

Spray paint for the base, then acrylics for any detail

Thanks for the suggestions, Looks like a fun day out at Homebase/ Motorworld for me tomorrow, realy missing Woolworths for usefull bits and pieces.
