Faith No More reform = Me bouncing off the walls!
Ok, i realise this may not be everyone's cup of tea but i'm so flippin' excited i needed to post this somewhere!
FAITH NO MORE ARE REFORMING AND PLAYING DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL THIS YEAR!!!
Now, for those that dont know me too well, my obsession with anything Mike Patton is beyond disturbing, and that all started thanks to my dear older brother introducing me at a young age to the music of Faith No More. From there, i have pretty much followed Mr P's career as some sort of religion, converting my nearest and dearest to fans through sheer tenacity if nothing else.
From FNM, to Mr Bungle, Tomahawk and (to a lesser extent) The Fantomas, Mike Patton's music has spoken to me in ways no other person's has. It is the music i want to hear, and the music i eventually want to make.
SO, with the worship over, i just wondered if anyone else was excited by this news?
....i am now going to head off into a dark corner and calm myself down......WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I'm more terrified at the thought of having to spend time in work with someone who will NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS!

Ah, I wondered why Kerrang tv have been playing Epic every 5 minutes.
My daughter has nicked my 'The Real Thing' cd because of it. A welcome relief from hearing Black Stone Cherry non-stop from her bedroomThe Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

Black Stone Cherry are slowly growing on me. I think it a major triumph that my girls would rather tune telly in to watch Kerrang than Disney Kids
And it's such a relief to have eldest get into my car and immediately put MY My Chemical Romance cds on or MY Green Day ones or MY The Cult ones (can you tell there's an issue with her nicking my cds)
Now if I could only get them into Led Zepp.....The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

Led Zep 4 or the 'Remasters' CD would be a good start...

They let me keep Kashmir and Rock & Roll on when I'm being Mum's taxi service, but for some absurd reason they get bored with Black Dog

I love Faith No More - this is some of the best news I've heard in a long time. Hopefully they will do a full tour of the UK, including Birmingham - HINT HINT.
