    Not to mention your nose!

Btw am I the only one slightly perturbed by the fact that his kid seems to have inherited his new nose rather than the one he was born with?

Nothing wrong with that Claire Grogan is fabulous!

I think the only films I went to see at the cinema were 'Basil the Great Mouse Detective' and 'Labyrinth', my mum is from the "but it'll be on tv is three years can't you wait" school of parenting.

And Howard's Way rocks, though not quite as much as Bergerac-I named my goldfish after some of the characters.

Maybe she inherited her mum's nose?

hehe Well I now know the horse is alright in the end so it doesn't have quite the same impact as it did the first time around.

That said, I never quite got over the 'chuck the cat out of the taxi' bit at the end of Breakfast At Tiffany's, despite knowing she gets him back. But the movie-related childhood trauma I've REALLY never managed to deal with is the biting dolls in Barbarella. Even as an adult, I still have to turn away/get out of the room for that scene, despite the film being a real favourite of mine.

And every time I watch it I think I'm being ridiculous and that I'll be able to watch it... yet as soon as they appear, I freak out!

I was just about to add wargames to the list having seen that it's on film4 tonight - shall we play global thermonuclear war?

I went to the pictures to see ET and Return to Witch Mountain is another one I remember going to the cinema to see, I think Spiderman was the other film on the bill. The days of double bills - haha, no jam jars or anything involved, I'm not THAT old!
