Thread: does anyone else hate internet filters?

so for the last month i've been staying in a hostel in Edinburgh with a crazy internet filter that classifies MoB as sex... and being too lazy to go to an internet cafe, i've not been on the forum for weeks! but in a few weeks time i will be coming to Birmingham to settle for a while, so if anyone from the area has any tips for job hunting or accommodation i'd be eternally grateful

I hate filters too - my work filter allows MoB (yay!) but seems to class the following as pornography:
- some wedding dresses
- some wedding singers
- skip hire firms
- corsetiers
- ivillage

verrrry bizarre!

As for Birmingham, I dont know it, sorry, only been once, but good luck with the job / flat hunting xxx

The nonsense that they come up with means that you spend so much time reclassifying stuff that you might as well use the internet equivalent of a telephone operator.... "Hello, which site please?...."
