Just logged on after an evening at the Frock Face putting the finishing touches to a costume for the brilliant Coin-Operated Girl, whose new act is all about specs/glasses. I've been working on a bra with 50's style spec frames over the cups, all trimmed with polka-dot pleated ribbon, which whip off in a heartbeat to reveal an under-cup bra and pastie shaped like eyes complete with 3-D lashes made by threading bugle beads onto wire.
Long live myopics everywhere!
And for anyone with a generous budget, try the shop on the corner of Long Acre and Endell Street in Covent Garden for spec frames shaped like palm trees, guitars, original frames from every decade, monocles, pince-nez etc.

SuseLove is like the wild rose-briar; Friendship like the holly-tree. The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms, but which will bloom most constantly?
