Student Loan Help!
Afternoon all,
So I've finally got off my arse (well sat down on it actually) and visited the Student Finance website to apply for my University Loan for when I go in September (fingers crossed).
But I am so CONFUSED!!! :censored:
Does anyone have a clue where to start?
Does anyone know what to register for, am I registering for Apply for Support or Support an Application or both?????
:wallbash:

Hmmm... When I applied I was just sent a form.
If you go on the student finance website there should be a section that says something about applying for 09/10. Click on that and it should hopefully let you fill out the form.
I hope that helps- I've never had any confusion so I'm not really sure what's wrong lol.

Heya,
I know it's a complete nightmare but you definitely want to "apply for support". If you live with your parents they'll need to "support an application" but there's the option when you apply for them to send the paper documents instead of doing it online - which I find is simpler as you need to send documents in and sign things anyway. If you've lived alone for over a certain number of years you'll need to "support an application" yourself - but it will tell you if that applies when you fill in the "apply for support" bit.
Hope that helps!

No problem, I've had three years of tussling with the silly thing and 4 applications for support now. I don't think there is an faq or anything, though with the first version I used (they changed it this year) it was a bit simpler. The amount of times I forgot my ART ID or password or both was a nightmare. Now I keep my ART ID in my diary.
