Saw him last year in Cambridge - he was amazing and really genuine. Wouldn't mind seeing him again

Unfortunately have yet to see him
But he hopes to release a new album in the Autumn, and that means touring!

Yeah have liked him for yrs, since his pulp/longpig days

Saw him 3 yrs ago at the Synphony Hall in Bham and again last sept at End Of The Rd fest in Dorset
Fab performer- very witty

I find Mr. Hawley's drummer particularly good fun, personally! I'm sure many Candy Box regulars are fans too!

Heh heh...you really do need to come to the next Candy Box, Bluejay! Richard Hawley's drummer is the Candy Box's band drummer too! He (our drummer) just got married last weekend- my husband Al was his best man and both Richard Hawley & Imelda May sang a few songs at the reception!

Small world indeed.
I didn't know, until rcently, that Al G. Base player of The Rhythm Riot Band,
and Al Palooka were one and the same.
Has Robin sent you a bundle of flyers to distribute yet?

I've seen a flyer around the house but I think we usualy got out of that particular job...at least for a while yet!
The Rhythm Riot is where my poor wee girl celebrates her birthday every year!
(the only year we missed was when I was giving birth!)
