Dirty old men
When do men who still have ths same normal thoughts about sex and attraction to members of the opposite sex as when they were in there teens ,become labeled dirty old men.
I am 50 now and still find the female form a wonderful and attractive thing in the same way that I always have. However I am aware of an ageist thing where anyone of a certain age who continues to express an interest is deemed to be some sort of perv or a dirty old man.Its not my fault that I still find girls/women in their
20s/30s/and40s beautiful and desireable.
I am personally of the opinion that when men loose their interest in sex and the opposite sex they are one step away from loosing their grip on life its self.
In someways its a bit of a curse and maybe my interest in things of a sexual nature will fade away. But what if it doesnt and I still feel the same in my 70s . At what age do I become a dirty old man or am I there already

I would say that anybody that is old enough to know better than to use phrases like "look at her tits" "nice arse sweetheart" or "giz a blowjob" but still chooses to, is a dirty old man. Anybody who hasn't matured to the point of being able to appreciate beauty and their desire in a more eloquent and less offensive manner, at any age after the age of thirteen, is a dirty old man in my book (and before that age it's still bloody inappropriate!). Believe me there are a few d.o.m that work around here

Fact is, with age should come wisdom, and by all means I think women and men should cherish and nurture their libidos right upto the grave. So unless you start pinching bums unwelcomely, passing lecherous and demeaning comment, or expressing your lust without intelligence you will never be classed as a dirty old man (at least to me and similar thinkers!) no matter what your age.

Oi be a dirty ol' man oi be coz I married a 37 year old who had had only ONE partner before me who only saw her once every four months!! At least that is what some local *uckwits have said to me recently, oh, I am 53 by the way
But, I reckon that appreciating a well turned ankle or a nice flash of thigh in a stocking or a nice "bouncy one" is NOT being a dirty old man. Christ, I get enough woman saying I have a nice tight arse and they are in their teens and twenties and thirties and upwards, are they dirty "old" woman?
One of my 16 year old female cadets put it thusly one day, she was dating a 42 year old divorcee she said, "And your problem is?" to the various idiots who had a go.

What a nice change to hear this kind of thing!
I think most women appreciate a kind comment (not bawdy lustful holler across the building site) about their appearance, which, contrary to popular belief, does not have to be made in a sexual way- I have several older male clients who visit regularly, and are always complimentary, charming, and in no way, inappropriate or offensive with their comments- they are all happily married but note the amount of effort women go to to look nice, and to be honest, if Ive spent an hour rolling on my stockings, doing my hair and make-up and generally making an effort, Id be offended if it wasnt remarked upon! (take note boys!)
Frankly Mr B, if youre appreciating the female form in a way that is respectful, and doesnt make the recipient feel uncomfortable then you should feel no shame what-so-ever! You should feel proud that you are amongst a small group of men who are capable of noting when a woman needs a bit of a boost or has made an effort on someone elses behalf! You keep at it!
We should rebrand it, appreciative distinguished gents, not dirty old men!

Just to show the difference between an American company and a UK one. My ex partner used to work for Barclays in Poole. Whenever they had workers onsite the general calls of "Get yer tits out bitch" and "Is yer hair really red, gis a look at yer C!" etc and so forth were deriguer for the Irish and other "werkers" from another county or three. Nothing was ever done about it. A few years later said ex was working for Chase Manhatten Bank in Bournemouth ( the old JP Morgan (Chase) place at Littledown). I was as well doing security, this was just before Twin Towers. Anyway, they decided to rebuild one of the out buildings. They got a contractor in who employed Irish and other UK county "werkers". On the Monday ALL the ladies in Chase sent internal emails to HR about the verbal abuse and offers of sex they were getting from these guys, on Tuesday their boss was pulled and in front of ALL of us security bods was told by management that the NEXT time any of the "werkers" were heard saying ""get yer tits out" etc and so forth, the company would lose the job and be fined several millions as well. The building boss left our office in a right fume, on Wednesday several "werkers" were heard to ask a young lass if she "shagged"............On Thursday the WHOLE gang of Irish and other workers were sacked and a new batch came in to start on Monday and we never had any problems ever again. We security were actually ordered by the USA bods to arrest and throw ofsite anyone heard speaking in such a fashion. Lukely it never came to that!

it's funny a topic about pervy old men should be brought up, there is a guy in his 50's in my class and my pal came back from a fag break earlier today and told me that he had put his hand right down her top! i told her that she should have complained about him but she couldn't be bothered with the hassle. if he had have done it to me i would have ripped his bloody knob off
he also makes lots of sleazy comments all the time and is generally an idiot.
i don't really have a problem with a guy old or young complimenting me, apart from getting embarassed, it's the sleazy one's or the one's that take it too far that bug me and make me feel uncomfortable. i hate walking past building sites so much that sometimes i go out of my way to avoid them.

Hi Mr B!
It's completely normal for anyone to find young women attractive, wither you're 13, 50, or 90. The issue comes in how this attraction is expressed. It's the difference between making a woman feel appreciated and making her feel uncomfortable. If you understand the distinction, then you're not a 'dirty old man'

The day I come home to find you sitting in suds in my sink, scrubbing your back....that's the time I'll call you 'You Dirrrrrrrty Ooooold Maannnnnn!' but your admiration and even sometimes desire of the wonderful and attractive female form isn't anything to be ashamed of or derided at any age. I totally agree and love the way you express "when men loose their interest.....one step away from losing grip on life itself". And I agree totally with Joshua's opinions too.
I'm in my 40's and have friends (male and female) who come along to burlesque events with me into their 60's, and why shouldn't we? I think there are plenty women who ooze sex appeal into their 60's, 70's and I'm sure if I thought a little harder I could think of some 80s too - actually Honor Blackman, she's in her 80's and DAMN SEXY! So if women are sexy into their older years.......wouldn't it be a terrible shame for them not to be admired, desired etc by older men? I reckon so
I hope you don't mind me saying, but I'd stop thinking too much, you're wasting precious time
and get on living life and having fun, and making the odd lady glow inside by letting her know you've noticed her and that she's got a gorgeous smile etc etc
The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...
