Thread: Email linking

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to link to email accounts together. I have a personal email which is x@hotmail.com and i wanted to find out if it is possible to link a busniess email account to it so i don't have to keep opening both accounts up all the time. Basically i want any emails that go into my business account to go into my personal account or to get a notification if i have new mail.

I use a program called Mozilla Thunderbird, which is really easy to use!

And yes, by the makers of Firefox, so it's trustworthy. I've used it for a year now.

I've just had a look at hotmail, on my mail page is a list down the left hand side, inbox, junk, etc etc, then at the bottom is Manage Folders and Add An Email Account.

If you click on Add An Email account, and put in the address and password, it *should* link it to the one you are in.

I'm not going to try it for definite, as i don't want to link mine together! but it seems like an easy peasy and safe bet!

Typically enough after i had posted this i found it (i knew i had seen it on there somewhere). I basically means i can switch between accounts without signing in and out, each account is totally seperate from what i can see, although that might change once i have have had chance to play about with it.

At the moment i don't know if i have new mail in the 1 account if i am in the 2nd account, and all the advise buttons have page error, so i'm kinda winging it.
