    Default Does anybody know

Of any events where i could have a stall selling my wares

Ive been absent from here for a while working on my website and making lots of lovely things to fill it with - theres a lot of handmade stuff but im also selling branded non handmade goods

im really excited about getting my website up and running but i love selling face to face and i love retail work (strange i know lol) so would love to do some events and with a mixed stock i could jiggle things about to cater for different events (most of it is rockabilly/burlesque style though)

ive been googling all day but not coming up with a great deal

    thankies x

    Whereabouts are you based???

I know that Pitty Patt in Nottingham often look for stallholders and other events do too. It might just be worth sending a message to promoters of events that you see advertised on MoB, myspace, facebook etc to see if they're interested.

The best place to sell your kind of wares are the Rock 'n' Roll weekenders.
There are so many that the best place to look is in UK Rock. It's a Rock and Roll monthly fanzine, and it's free:
UK ROCK - THE 50S ROCK'N'ROLL MAG THAT KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON
There are more and more jive venues putting on burlesque, so there is an overlap between the two, the best of these is The Rhythm Riot, just Google it. The people that run it are Robin & Colette, send them an email, they are always looking for interesting stall holders.
And of course, you could ask Blonde Ambition if they would consider you putting a stall at the 4th July High Tease/Vegas venue. Send a PM to Sunday Blue or Gilda Lily, if you don't ask you don't get, and they can only say no. So hope that puts you in the right direction.

Cecilia Rouge was looking for stallholders for her US vs UK burlesque event in Leeds; August 29th.

You can contact her through burlesque leeds for more details
