Norton 360 help please
I have recently updated my Norton 360 antivirus, and it doesn't like me playing BoB on facebook and keeps coming up a big red crosses if i try to use it, warning me it's a threat. I have to 'enter this site anyway' and i'm sure there must be an over ride somewhere so it doesn't keep doing it. I have checked accounts and settings and can't find anything useful in there.
Please can someone point me in the right direction as although my competitors are loving this slowing me down i am getting annoyed with it now.
Thank you for looking.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

In all honesty, the best thing you can do with Norton, is uninstall it!
It's a bit of a resource hog, nibbling away at available RAM and, as you've found, doing all it can to get in your way.
But I imagine you've bought a licence, so telling you to remove it isn't really helpful.
From what I can see, if you've played about with the firewall and internet settings in Norton and not making any headway, the best thing to do is submit it to Symantec as a false positive:
https://submit.symantec.com/antifrau...e_positive.cgi
I've heard that it should be reviewed and updated in less than a day, sometimes even in minutes!
Hope that helps

Thanks Kitt, i tried the link, twice and both times i got a reply back saying they couldn't find a problem with the URL i sent them so they won't do anything. Which is weird because i sent them the URL of the page that had a big warning cross on it, and it has been blocked for security by them, never mind. Thank you for your help though.
