Hello! I've put this in Fashion/make-up, but just realised it isn't quite burlesque- other than the vintage style thing- so thought I'd better put it here too!

I'm posting here in the hope that SOMEBODY will be able to help. I'm making a wedding dress for a friend but her (female) partner has been let down by her dressmaker and now is stuck for a white suit. The wedding is on Halloween (7 weeks away). She is looking for a classy 30s/40s style fitted white/ivory trouser suit in duchess satin or similar, size 12ish. She plans to wear it with just a bustier underneath. They are London based but willing to travel and also willing to pay well ( but not insane)!
Can anyone either A) make a bespoke item in this timescale B) have any recommendations of seamstresses/tailors who would be able to help or C) think of somewhere where this sort of thing might be available off-the-peg?? They have looked everywhere but for some reason this is a really hard thing to find. At the moment it looks like she'll be going down the aisle in just a great pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes!!!
