Don't forget Vivien of Holloway sells white satin dresses. Also check Etsy for "50s dress"- sometimes they're not listed as wedding dresses but could easily be worn as one.

Try "Vintage 50s dress" in ebay, although it's not as good as Etsy.
oh how i wished i had had VOH wedding dress!!!!

having gotten mrried in sept i can tell you asure fire way of saving a HELL of a lot of cash......have an early buffet rather than a wedding breakfast!! peopple wait arund a lot less time and it saved us about 3k!!!

if you dont want chair covers dont! we didnt miss them! etc....also when getting quotes dont tell them its for a wedding...they will double, nay, triple the price if you do! lol

well i thought about an early buffet...but i think that i want the breakfast...although that could well change, i have nothing set in stone yet.

fortunatly for me i know florests, photographers, bakers, hairdresses ect so i can at least stop those costs spiralling out of control. for us its the church and feeding everyone that'll cost. but hey i only intend on doing this the once so i'm just gonna have to save harder...well that or Kev will!

thanks for all of the advice everyone
