Burlescapades! - an elegant evening of champagne and cocktails with a*dazzling stage show starring some of the world's*finest burlesque and*cabaret entertainment.

Don your finest masquerade apparel and let the voluptuous Burlescapades courtesans transport you back in time to a world of secret pleasures and mysterious strangers at their Valentine Venetian Masked Ball.

Wandering minstrel Paul L Martin will guide you through this romantic carnival of the senses, where magic, music and masked beauties await. Roam the corridors of the Doge’s Palace and be beguiled by burlesque bluestocking Gwendoline Lamour, mesmerizing magician Marisa Carnesky, tantalizing temptress Leyla Rose and seductive siren Missy Malone. Lascivious ladies may feast their eyes on our notorious Casanova, Warren Speed, as he reveals his Masque of the Red Death! The And tantalizing troubadour Boo Hewerdine will be providing aural stimulation.

After the entertainment, dance the*night away under the glittering chandeliers to vintage sounds from the*1920s to the 1950s and beyond. Enjoy the atmosphere and style of a bygone era at Scotland’s most elegant night out.

Masked balls immediately evoke images of the wonderfully colourful Venetian Masquerades held in February, with their glorious costumes and elaborate masks. With the emergence of such festivities taking place in Edinburgh, Chic and Unique are now stocking a selection of handmade Venetian Carnival masks along with fun feather masks, with prices to suit all budgets.
