Default Bongo Club Cabaret 2010 - We're Back! - More Info!

The Bongo Cabaret Club is the Edinburgh Fringe's most popular late-night offering; showcasing the best the Fringe has to offer in comedy, circus, theatre, variety, music, dance and burlesque; it is the place to see the hottest acts of the Fringe and beyond and dance until the wee small hours.

Whether you've got your own Fringe show to promote or have an act and you are looking for exposure during the world’s biggest arts festival then please get in touch.

We will be accepting performance submissions for guest spots so if you are an excellent cabaret/variety/comedy/circus/burlesque/dancemagic/performance artiste and fancy treading the boards of a stage that has seen the likes of Amanda Palmer, Frisky & Mannish, Desmond O'Connor, Dusty Limits, The Wau Wau Sisters, Missy Malone, Lynne Ruth Miller, Leyla Rose and pretty much the entire cast La Clique then get in touch!

It's going to be hectic, elating, drunken and downright manic but good lord it will be awesome!

As the Bongo Club Cabaret is a showcase event, we do not offer a fee but do pay travel expenses where necessary and have a generous drinks rider for performers!

Slots are 5-10mins long (depending on act) and the show runs 22:15-23:30 the whole of the Fringe

email bongo@rhymeswithpurple.net to get involved. Please include a description of your act, photos and links to any video footage.

I'm so excited about the Fringe Fest this year, with the promise of so many fabulous shows, so glad to see that the Bongo Club Cabaret will be back too - the Fringe would not be the same without it, that's for sure!

    The countdown to August begins...
