Thread: Dead Famous 28th April!

This month's installment of Dead Famous will take place on Wednesday, the 28th April 2010 at The Admiral Bar, Glasgow!

As well as live bands and other exciting goings-on for all you lovely people, we have five fabulous burlesque performances from:

Scarlett Flame
Micha Rose
Evelyn Entice
Roxy Stardust
Lady V

Bands include newly formed Glam-Rockers, Dangerous Candi.


All compered by the charming and top-hat-talented, Baron Bartholomew Black!

It is a fantastic night out with more variety than a Cadbury's box of Roses! Plus the bar is pretty cheap too, which helps a lot!

Tickets are £4 and are available from the door on the night.
Doors at 7.30pm - Night starts at 8pm.

I have a digital camera with video function but would love to get help from someone with heavier equipment :P.

More bands have been confirmed for Dead Famous!

These include: Alkotron, Mother Midnight, 60 Persons and New York rockers, Adam Bomb.

I know this is a bit late but I've been out of the loop, between having internet problems and being particularly under the weather.

Dead Famous officially stole the last of my voice! I could barely whisper the day after the show so I went to the doc and she prescribed NO TALKING for TWO WEEKS!

Compere Nightmare!

I've still to be silent until approximately Thursday next week, then I can get back to shouting performer names at the top of my lungs! That's probably how I lost my voice in the first place, so it's a good job I'll never learn!

I had a great night at Dead Famous. The burlesquers were fantastic and the DF audience is a nice supportive crowd for the newer performers to cut their teeth on.

Hopefully I'll have my full decibel capacity back in time for the next show!
