Edinburgh receives a twist on its Thursday night dining experience in this Jazz and Blues flavoured supper club in the exquisite auditorium of the city's newest quality venue, the Ghillie Dhu.

Come on in and have a chat and a drink as they would have done in the social nightclubs in Hollywood’s Film Noirs or New Orleans’ Bourbon Street. Stay for dinner and indulge in the specially selected menu from around Scotland with an added Cajun twist.

As evening draws on and the vintage inspired cocktail menu, created specially for diners & guests at the Cat's Meow to entice as the entertainment begins.

Traditional, shimmy and bump n’ grind Burlesque acts take to the beautiful draped stage to add a saucy edge to proceedings.

Inspired by the heyday of American Burlesque House performance when Marilyn graced the silver screen and Gypsy Rose Lee reigned supreme; enjoy the art and glamour of a bygone era in gorgeous surroundings with friends.

It was bound to happen, it's such a fabulous venue! Looking forward to the Cat's Meow.

I would have loved to have come... but darn it, exams spoil my burley plans again. I'm sure it'll be fantastic!

We have a specially selected vintage cocktail menu created just for this event to fully recognise its vintage vibe. So, in addition to a collection of Scotland's best burlesque performers transporting you back to Bump n Grind Burlesque's heyday, a fine dinner/bar snack menu to fill your tum and a soundtrack of Retro Swing, Vegas Grind & Exotica in one of the Capital's most glamorous auditoriums, you can wash it all down in true retro style before showing us your shimmy skills on the dancefloor.

See you from 7pm tomorrow (show starts at 8pm).

Oh what a fine night.

A spectacular audience & fabulously slick show, if I do say so - thanks to everyone that joined the fun & ladies - you were amazing, special thanks to our Go-Go dancers extraordinaire, we could not have had a better launch night!!

We certainly popped the Ghillie Dhu's Bump 'n' Grind cherry in grand style!

Here's to a lil more shimmy & shake at the next edition of the Cat's Meow on Thursday 3rd June.
