Red Door Burlesque Fundraiser Returns! 19th May
I'm really excited to announce that the Red Door Panopticon fundraiser will return on Wednesday 19th May. We're trying a slightly different format this time... There will be performances from Miss Hell's Belle and Wild Card Kitty, with singing from Rufus T in the 1st and last segments of the show,
BUT....the middle section will be devoted to Burlesque Factor!
Are you a new performer who has what it takes to dazzle the audience and judges? There will be 5 performers in this section of the night, and each act will be given a comment card from the judges with responses and suggestions after their performance. The judging panel will be made up of the evening's star performers (Miss Hell's Belle, Wild Card Kitty and Rufus T), along with myself as compere and promoter. There will of course be the chance for the audience to pick their favourites, so if you know someone performing, please do come along and support them! This will be a friendly competition though - no Simon Cowell put-downs!
So far 3 of the Burlesque Factor slots have been filled, and we will have Lilly de Lure, Electra Volt and Valentina Vettini performing. This means there are still 2 slots available, so get in touch if you would like to perform, or pass these details on to a friend. Contact dollytartan@hotmail.co.uk for further details. Please note that this will be an ongoing monthly competition, so if you don't appear in May there will be plenty more oppotunities! Ideally we're looking for new performers, this competition is to give them a space to try out routines and play with characters, and it's not aimed at more experienced performers that are trying out new routines etc.

Sounds like a great night as ever Dolly but alas, Suzuki Sparks and yours truly shall be piloting motorcycles around the country roads of the Emerald Isle. Good luck for this new format.
Smouldering like the charred remnants of the British Economy.....

I'm pleased to announce that taking the other 2 Burlesque Factor slots this month will be Favourite Sin and Kari von Regardless!
June and July are already filling up too, so get in touch asap if you'd like to perform at either of these shows (dates TBC but usually mid-month on a Wednesday).
