Introduction to Fire Performance
We have packed over 10 years of experience and knowledge into this class which introduces the art of fire eating, fire breathing, body burning (fakir) and fire safety as well as teaching stud...ents how to understand their fuels and be safe while performing with fire.

* Only £150 for a place on this class which consist of a well laid out lesson plan of over four hours. You can't beat this price! A £30 deposit secures your place.
* Everything is done according to personal confidence and comfort level.
* All workshops are tutored by our experienced and safety conscious teachers. All fuel, gear and safety equipment is provided.
* Places limited to 9 participants per workshop. Workshops fill up quickly, so book soon.

* THE SMALL PRINT

1. Enrolment in each class is limited. Applications will be accepted in the order they are received. In the event that Rhymes with Purple must cancel a class due to lack of interest, the student will be offered the choice of enrolment in another class or a full refund.

2. Payment is due at or before the first class meeting.

3. Registered students who withdraw one week before the first class meeting will receive a full refund. Students who withdraw prior to 72 hours of the first meeting will be refunded 70% of their couse fee. NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE WITHIN 72-HOURS OF THE FIRST CLASS.

4. Rhymes with Purple reserves the right to dismiss from the course any individual whose behaviour is disruptive to the working of the class.

5. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver stating that they understand that no assurance guaranteeing their safety can be made and that they agree to hold RHYMES WITH PURPLE PRODUCTIONS, the TUTORS, OTHER STUDENTS, and VENUE MANAGEMENT & STAFF completely harmless of all liability if they sustain any injuries.

Already half full!

Ladies and Germolines, I can wholeheartedly recommend this course and the motley bunch that run it. You will be impressed by the professional approach yet entertained by well placed humour. You will be encouraged but not pushed beyond your own limits. This is almost certainly the safest way to approach what is indeed a terribly dangerous performance art.

The venue is perfectly suited for this workshop and very easy to get to. If you are giving serious thought to booking up, then do so.......

......I hope to see some of you on the follow up Intermediate or Advanced course when that comes along.

This is something I have been interested in for some time, so I am really excitedly looking forward to attending this workshop and taking my first steps into learning about the complexities (and safety) of fire performance.

Loved it, really loved it. We all left with huge grins and a sense of accomplishment. So glad I did this workshop and can't wait for the next one.

Advanced Fire Performance Skills - Sunday 17th April
This workshop introduces new skills and techniques in fire-breathing and eating as well as introducing the students to Fire-Fans, Poi, Clubs and Staff as well as teaching students how to understand their fuels, make and maintain their own fire wands and be safe while performing with fire. This workshop includes discussion on insurance, risk assessments and finding work.


NOTE: You must have completed Introduction to Fire Performance to attend this course.




Only £150 for a place on each course which consist of well laid out lesson plan.
