Thread: hello and boudoir photography question from newbie

Hello ladies & gentlemen,
I'm Clarabow and interested in all things burlesque! It's my hubby's birthday soon and I'd love to give him a boudoir photography picture which I know he'd love after suggesting it a few times.

Any recommendations on who could provide such a service and do hair and makeup? Anywhere as far north as Perth, west to Glasgow and east coast of Lothians or south in borders would be fine.

In my dreams, I would love to do a surprise dance on a stage somewhere - an up close and personal thing where he's the only member of the audience - but I'd need coaching and would need to hire somewhere - ££££'s I guess! Heyho, when I win the lotto perhaps I can ask you guys again :-)

Best boudoir companies in Scotland that I know of are Beautifully Boudoir and Peachfur. Sorry can't post links as I'm a Newbie (need to be registered for 7 days to post links apparently). Both are very good professional studios that I can recommend (I run a Boudoir Studio myself, so I know a thing or two about it ;o) You should find them both if you use Google.

Hi Clarabow, I think Loraine Ross is based in Edinburgh and she is an amazing pin-up photographer, who has worked with people like Millie Dollar, I think her website is Loraine Ross Photography. Hope this helps.

Beautifully Boudoir in Glasgow are great.
Miss Dixiebelle in Edinburgh offer a full vintage styling session and can arrange for a photographer to take your picture after the styling's been done.
Loraine's brilliant, and I believe works in conjunction with Miss Dixiebelle at times, so a double-whammy of loveliness!
