Thread: Pin Ups Red Light Night (Glasgow) booking assistance required

Hello

My name is John D and since 2003 I've ran Glasgow "indie, punk, soul and electropop" club night Pin Up Nights.

I am hoping I can get some advice on how to go about booking some performers for "Pin Ups Red Light Night" on Friday 30th September.

It's going to be (loosely) burlesque themed and the Guest DJ is going to be famed footballer and ladies man Frank McAvennie (ie Frank will appear and we will pick songs and DJ for him..). "We've got Beatles, Stones, Kinks - but where's the Byrds?"....

It's sort of the third in our trilogy of big September events - the Circus in 2009 (Guest DJ Naboo of the Mighty Boosh) and Geek Night in 2010 (Guest DJ Angelos from BBC 2's Shooting Stars) were the 2 busiest events we've ever done.

We have upcoming Glasgow band For Abel booked to play live at Red Light Night and want to add some performers and maybe another live band to the bill.

Go on the 'Performer Castings' forum and start a thread with the details above, stating what specifics you're looking for, whether you're offering a fee/travel expenses etc, the dates and times of the show etc and contact details.

You managed to put this one on, so I don't see you having any trouble with it.
