Hooray - much better.
To get things going I thought I'd list all the weird and wonderful things going on in Scottish burlesque - promoters, nights and performers - so that anyone introducing themselves to what's going on can get a comprehensive picture of the scene.
(In the interest of self promotion!) Rhymes with Purple Productions - we represent one of the UKs busiest and most professional freelance burlesque troupe as well as producing one off cabaret events.
Dr Sketchy Glasgow - the largest branch of the biggest burlesque pheonmenon in the world, Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School. A saucy, boozy fusion of burlesque life drawing and cabaret mischief every month at The Arches. Hosted by Lucille Burn & Rufus T Fahrenheit
Dr Sketchy Edinburgh - the Edinburgh branch of your favourite global art phenomenon hosted by Wild Card Kitty
The Academy of Burlesque & Cabaret - managed and taught by Gypsy Charms & Viva Misadventure this is penulitmate place for burlesque beginners to be shown the ropes. Reasonably priced and extremely fun these workshops are essential for the budding starlette.
Burlescapades! - an elegant evening of champagne and cocktails with a dazzling stage show starring some of the world's finest burlesque and cabaret entertainment. Managed by superstar Lily White, very decadent, very burlesque!
Club Noir - going strong since 2004, the world's largest in terms of capacity burlesque night club.
Rockaburley - exploding onto the scene this year and set for big things this is Scotlands first and most exciting Rockabilly Burlesque event. Run by performers Daiquiri Dusk & Cat Aclysmic.
Spangled Cabaret - a quirky and unique miniature cabaret in the retro surroundings of Cafe Rio in Glasgow's westend. This fabulous little night is free to get in and features burlesque & cabaret performances from local talent and live music from the Glasgow Glam Bangers & Scunner, who are also your hosts and promoters.
Cheesecake - a brand new night for newcomers to get a chance to strut their stuff for a live audience. Making its debut to the scene on the 25th of July at Capitol in Glasgow this new event is being hosted by Alabama Rose.
The Bongo Club Cabaret - Evoking Brechtian Berlin, Parisian Cafes, New York Glam and London Deadpan this fantastic event has been an Edinburgh Fringe staple for a number of years now
If I've forgot anything, which I probably have, then get posting!
