That weekend is also the end of my week's holiday from work, so I might have to celebrate in style!

Yay!
Yes indeed, we have the return to the Sketchy Stage of the lovely (and very pregnant!) Petit Chou Chou - A heavily pregnant burlesque model; an unmissable opportunity for Art Monkeys!!
Our Open Stage spot is being filled by Scarlett Flame!

Beautiful jazz chanteuse Lou Hickey is celebrating her quarter century landmark birthday with a show at Pivo Pivo this Saturday evening! A stellar line up of bands including Sisa and Ms Hickey herself and as my birthday present to Lou, I shall be unveiling a brand new act in her honour! The show is open to all, doors are at 20:00 and Pivo Pivo is located very near Glasgow Central Station. Hope to see y'all there!

The Proclaimers recently did a guest appearance at an event at my work. I didn't see them play (my shift was finished by then) but I did meet them when they came in for a soundcheck. Very nice young men they were too! Hope you enjoyed yourself.
I'm not sure I'll make this weekend's Sketchy as my best friend's down from Inverness that weekend so we might go for lunch or something before she heads back up the road that night.
I might see if she's free on Saturday afternoon though and take her along to the Panoptican! Might try and make it to Cheesecake too...

It is indeed a busy weekend (which hopefully will be fun-packed)!
Blondie on Saturday - blame Scarlett, she loves them.
Dr Sketchy's on Sunday - Scarlett again!
Oh well, ice hockey season starts soon. :excited: I'll have Sundays to myself again. Woo hoo!
Seriously, looking forward to Sunday.

I wish we could, but the last train to Stirling is at 11.48pm. We have to be on it. Heard parking is awful (and expensive) so it's gonna be public transport for us!
