Edinburgh High Tease :) :)
Hello to everybody on this site and I'd like to say how much I enjoyed the Ministry High Tease show last night. The only word for it is SPECTACULAR and if you haven't seen it yet, please go before they finish. What I liked was how each act was so different from each other and how it wasn't just another show full of fan dancers and tassel spinners.
Each act had everyone in stitches and it's very rare that this happens. I'm actually surprised that I have gone to the lengths of registering with this forum just to post how happy this show made me.
Does anybody know the name of the red-headed singer girl who opened and closed the show as we were talking about her on the way home. WHAT A VOICE! Even my husband, who only ever gets emotional when he watches the football admitted to getting a lump in his throat during this girls final closing number and if she is reading this, I would like to thank you for bringing out a side to him which I never see in public. We are both totally in love with you.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

This name rings a bell. I remember thinking how well conditioned her hair seemed to be. If she doesn't have a CD to buy, I'd love to know what shampoo she uses! :excited:

I agree Nessa, last night was the first night I've had the pleasure of seeing Dolores and she absolutely made my night with her closing number! But then everyone was fantastic and Kitten on the Keys had me speechless with her unorthodox 'songs of praise,' - the brilliance will continue at the Voodoo Rooms tonight and tomorrow night and all newcomers should keep an eye out for Glasgow's own Daiquiri Dusk and Vendetta Vain who'll be doing the Battle of Burlesque. Thanks Kittie and James for a great night and I do hope the mud view from your beautiful apartments keeps you inspired for the rest of the run

Indeedy it was a great night and I too thought Dolores was fantastic (and a lovely lady too!). In fact everyone on the bill was fabulous and for me it was a nice mixture of seeing some old favourites and finding some brand new favourites!
I was unfortunately the one slowly dying in the corner - and getting home at 2am hasn't helped my condition! I actually think I'm more ill today but hey... it was worth it!! And it's always a pleasure to spend time in the company of Cat, Lucille, Rufus, Missy and Kitten (and I get to do it again on Sunday - I'm a lucky girl!)
Congratulations Kittie and James on an excellent first night, I hope the rest go as well.
And James... I hope you got your Dairylea fix at some point too!

Hooray! I'd like to report that last night's show was equally excellent, if not more so, with standing room only.
Dolores is stunning, a true siren, it's been an honour to work with her and all the other exceptional talent on the bill.
Looking forward to tonight!
