I don't know about london, but I think there's a few in Birmingham, there's one in Chester and Manchester and check out the London Burlesque Social Club, they have a few shows every month

Keep an eye on the events forum and calender, there should be details on there

Are they starting to sell things now?
Ooh I love Halloween merch. I always pick loads of stuff up and save it for the rest of the year. I had some great dangly bat earrings from Claire's with little red gem eyes :love:Snowflakes and Sparkles

Yep - which worked out great for me as I was on a hunt for props for my new act. Now just need to buy a shed load of red glitter and a load of glue

Matalan and poundland were both setting up their halloween sections.
Got a bit depressed when I notice one store with it's christmas wrapping paper in a corner though...www.ErisEveiller.com

I need pumpkin lanterns! The electric ones. The normally sell really good ones in Asda.
I might see if I can find any fabricy bits as well to fancy up my costume. I may even buy that Kandi Kane I've been threatening to buy!Snowflakes and Sparkles

I have always loved Samhain/Sowain/Halloween, I can still rememebr as a wee boy of 5 or 6 in Glasgow going round the tennements as "Wee Wully Winky" 'Wee Wully Winky running through the toon, up the sters doon the sters in his night goon.'
I also have a pet HATE about Halloween!!!!!!!!! And that is all the little girlies betwixt 12 and 18 who wear bloody great Pentagrams for ONE day only when they have no idea what the thing means.....................Actually, Louise and I saw a girl a couple of days ago wearing a Pentagram AND a Crucifix................Must be hedging her bets methinks.

Haha that's really funny!
I have a satanist friend who went on a crazy rant once about how much he hates halloween and how much it offends him. And he hates people dressing up as the devil because the devil looks nothing like that.
On and on and on he went...
This was at a club's Halloween night...

If you, or anyone reading this has a "satanic/satanist" type friend who wont shut up about "what the devil looks like" and all the black witchcraft and mass orgies etc, tell them to go and join the "Church of Satan".....................They will find out rather quickly that they have no idea what being a Satanist is all about when they read that web site.
I got one a cracker one time when she was waxing lyrical about upside down crosses and her black candles etc......................"But Julie...........The light at the top of the candle is white and white is a sign of purity and Jesus and the Lamb of God never mind that by having an upside down cross you are actually admiting that Jesus was real, good and pure"................She doesn't talk to me any more.............
