Thread: Vegas, Edinburgh, 1st November 2008

Hi one and all,

I've been a member for a while, but never really got the guts up to post before now. (My partner, Lilly de Lure, joined this weekend, and her posting has shamed me into doing the same!)

Anyway, I thought I'd post and see if there will be much of a Ministry presence at Vegas on 1st November. Lilly really wants to see Lilly White's performance, and so we've got our tickets and are really looking forward to it (even got our Puppy-sitter organised!).

So are we likely to see anyone else gracing the grandeur of Ocean Terminal?

Glad to see you're a Vegas! fan!
For those unfamiliar, Vegas! isn't really a burlesque night, more a club night that also puts on Burlesque occasionally for special events. In this case Miss Lily White, Missy Malone and Dolores Delight will all be performing along with band action from The Counsellors and The Banjo Lounge Trio.
I'll be there of course in my Showgirl capacity onstage!
I can't speak for audience members in attendance though, but I'm sure they'll make themselves known shortly!
Dressing up is encouraged as you can win champagne for making an effort to wear fine clothing in a Vegas! style (so think Rat Pack, Casinos, Mafia, Caesar, Swing style, Rockabilly, Egyptian, 1940's screen goddesses, zoot suits and Elvis.)

So Vegas is tomorrow night, and both Lilly and I are really looking forward to it. :excited: We've got a couple of friends tagging along too, but I thought it might be nice to meet up with some of the lovely folk from the MoB (if anyone is attending!). :wave:

So, if anyone fancies meeting up, if you PM Lilly or myself, we can organise a place or time at the Terminal, or we could swap mobile numbers, or whatever folk think is a good idea, and thus meet up and grab a drink with an umbrella in it! :eyebrows:
