We invite you all to embark on a journey into the dark cabaret underworld as we return to the decedent surroundings of Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms on Friday 27th February for another of the alternative variety spectacular: Kabarett.

Hosts Electra Mayhem and Lady Dee will present a mixed bag of performers, players and sidekicks for Kabarett’s first outing of 2009 which will include:

Renowned circus duo
Frayed Knot : Amelie Soleil & Edd Muir

Neo Burlesque Starlets
Cherry Loco
Alabama Rose
Creme de la Cremation
& Lilly De Lure

Atmospheric gothic cabaret maestros
If You Lived Here You'd Be Home By Now

Legendary Variety Star & Free Fringe founder -

+ Comedy from Barry McDonald
Performance Poetry from the Zorras
Spoken Word from Andrew C. Ferguson
& Twisted cabaret antics from drag star Mini Mousse

Bad Kitty Corsets will also set up shop with unique Burlesque couture + we'll clear the floor for some dancing after the show to party into the wee hours!!

Doors open at 7.30pm, show starts at 8pm.

Admission is just £6.00 (+ booking fee) & advance tickets are now on sale online at www.seetickets.com + from local outlets.

Table / food service will be available before the show in the ballroom from 7.30pm, to make a booking please contact the Voodoo Rooms on 0131 556 7060 (mention Kabarett when booking to ensure you are seated in the ballroom). For menus click here.

An ickle Kabarett update - The gorgeous Creme de la Cremation will perfom at our show on Feb 27th, in what will be her debut performance in Edinburgh, we are hella-excited to have her on board!! :excited:

Sounds fantastic folks! What a veritable melting pot of talent. I just love the sound of this night. If I attend it will be without the shiny Suzuki Sparks, since it's an evening of work for her unfortunately.
