Default Fanteasyea Burlesque Club is back!

Its that time again! We've been quite quiet since November after our venue closed down but we're back and we like to think in style!

Fanteaseya Belles are pleased to announce that the next Fanteaseya Burlesque club will be held on 14th March. We've moved venues to the Debating Hall at Teviot Row and invite you all to help us pop this historical venue's burlesque cherry in style.

We will welcome you with a live jazz band before our fabulous show then invite you to dance and cavort with us to the sounds of our DJ, Lord Holyrude, until 3am

Our line up for the night is sure to tantalize your taste buds. Don't believe me? - see for yourself:

Leyla Rose - The Burlesque Performer they tried to ban
The Bees Knees - dancing the ninteen-twenties to the noughties
Viva Misadventure - Edinburgh's very own high kicking, tassle twirling, head turning burlesque star
Gilda Lily - a slave to dance and debauchery
Sir Lance O Lust - secrets behold under this mans kilt...
Dani California - performer and all-round princess
Calliope Cootch - Fanteaseya's very own Cock and Bull Tamer

Our fantastic compere Miss Harlequin Kiss will look after you throughout the show.

Doors will open at 9pm for a 10pm show. Tickets £10 in advance / £12 on the door

The show is open to everyone however please note that due to Teviot regulations photo ID is required - but don't worry, your age is our secret

Hope to see you along and be sure to say hi.

You can bet that Lilly and I will be there with proverbial bells on! (Unless my darling other half decides to get busy with a sewing machine, then we may even be there with actual bells on!) :twothumbs:

    Great looking line-up Calliope! :genius:

And I'm really looking forward to seeing the Debating Hall used as a Burlesque venue! The more I think of it the more shocked I am that our fine community hasn't invaded Teviot's ramparts before now! :eyebrows:

In a childish and petty fashion I shall claim the "First to Buy" crown for Lilly, as she got down to Ripping at lunch-time yesterday, and came home gleefully gripping our tickets in a manic fashion! :eyebrows:

(Of course I was not there when she got home, but in my feverish imagination that's how she arrived through the door! )

And please, enough with the bells! She'll hear you, and then my evenings shall be filled with the tinkle of tiny bells as she adds them to some unknown outfit! :duck:
