One for the Crafty folks; Subway Festival Market
Hello everyone,
This should maybe go in Fashion & Make-Up but it is entirely Scotland specific so I thought I would pop it in here.
As if Cabaret Festivals and general RwP madness was not enough for one little person I am also one of the Project Managers for the Subway Festival 2009 taking place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May this year.
The Subway Festival is a weekend long festival of arts and entertainment taking place within and around the Glasgow underground network. We launched this concept in 2008 to huge success - the Subway Festival generated over 60 items of press, also online, TV and radio coverage, in addition to its own promotional campaign of programmes, posters, vinyls, flyers, badges, stickers and website - and our objective for this is year is to make it even bigger and better!
One of the featured activities in this years festival is a fashion and craft market in Glasgow's West End (associated with the Hillhead Subway Station). This will feature fashion/craft stalls, workshops, fashion shows and bistro style stalls from local catering traders.
I am looking to fill some stall places so if you are in the business of making funky and fashionable items you wish to flog - be it feathers and fascinators or tassles and tinsel - then drop me a line!
You can register your interest to me by emailing
louise[dot]oliver[at]dada[dot]co[dot]uk
In addition to this I am also looking to hear from anyone who would be interested in being a Runner for this event, good for gaining experience in the large-scale events sector. Again, if you are interested in this drop me a line at the same email address.
Cheers and looking forward to hearing from you
