Theatrical Make Up Classes in Glasgow
Hi everyone
For anyone interested in learning skills in theatrical make up, Central College (Cathedral ST, Glasgow) are offering a new Saturday class. This may be perfect for performers wishing to do more with their stage face under the auspices of trained artists in a well equipped college.
It starts Sat 25th April and runs for 6 weeks 9.30am - 12.30pm. The cost is £60 which is amazing value - that works out at £10 per week.
The class is taught by my friend Emma C who is an HND qualified make up artist who has worked her magic on me a few times, as well as working in the lesser known mediums of film, tv and stage...
(Anyone who was at the Dr Sketchy bash last August may remember her body paint work on Mia Meow for her brilliant "Roswell" act!)
Details are on the College website (Central College - Changing Lives... Shaping Futures!) or PM me if you want to know anything specific about what is covered (and I'll find out for you)

I was just thinking that! I'd be seriously tempted by this class, but I've got my eye on the Dancebase Vaudeville class which is more or less the same time and in Edinburgh, so short of getting my own private rocket I can't really do both.

Decisions, decisions . . . .

oh now there is a tempring and very kind offer indeed. Will you be going along yourself?
Still a bit tricy though as each Friday night I take to the skies (trapeeze and silks class!!) and it don't finish til 9:30 which is rather late for little ol me after a long week at work!
