I am disappointed to hear that I was not aware of the Sloans performance. I used to live in a flat that overlooked Sloans and frequently could hear performances and catch glimmers of what was going on inside.
I hope it went well!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who worked on, performed at and attended the Subway Festival. It was absolutely epic!
Particularly kudos goes to Viva and her band of gorgeous can-can ladies who had the very onerous and unique task of dancing on the confined space of a underground train carriage, well done ladies, you are braver than I!
If you were part of the crew; Azure and Vendetta were two of the willing chumps who I managed to talk into coming to work with me on this (kidding ladies!) then I applaud you, it was a difficult weekend and there were production problems thrown at you that people of 20 years experience in the events and festival industry would have quivered at and you, and all the crew, were fast-thinking and dealt with everything beautifully and with a brilliant attitude. From myself and the rest of the production team, thank you!
Miss Leggy Pee, Kitsch Kats and Creative Martyrs were also huge hits - on train and above ground. Audiences, press and client alike have not stopped raving, well done guys!
Thank you to all the performers who took part in the press calls and publicity stunts for our PR team, this years festival generated an amazing 100 pieces of press coverage including full 2-page spreads in national publications, radio, TV spots and fantastic 4 and 5 star reviews for the theatre pieces on the trains from The Scotsman and The Herald.
For those of you who were under a rock over last weekend here are a few stats to give you an idea of the scale of this unqiue and fantastic festival!

A round of applause for you too, Ms Burn - I saw just a glimpse of how hard you were working on the run-up to this! Your hard work and dedication is a credit to you, lady.
Next year I hope to at least attend it, seeing as I have utterly failed to manage that so far!
If only I had a day job where I could give my availability and therefore take time off for events like this if I remember. Oh wait...

Yes, as Miss Carrie said - well done to you for supreme patience, hard work and organization.
An amazing festival from the (under)ground up and you only had to suffer slight head trauma to do it!
xx
