    Thumbs up

Thanks Ladies, I'm curating the night in conjunction with the Electric Circus & it promises to be a very special evening indeed. It will be Trixee's first time performing in Edinburgh - I'm pleased as punch that she and Crimson are able to join us + we all know how great Mr. IJ is - so we have a really fabulous show in store!!

Va Va Voom will also have a very special 'secret room' set up & filled with wonderous, magical delights for all to enjoy.

I'm more than a little excited about this one and it'll be less than a month to go til Empress Stah & Vendetta Vain join us for Kabarett in the Electric Circus on the 24th of July - I am a happy ickle bunny!!

    Default Excited....

Hey guys, Thanks for the nice words Dee. I am looking forward to performing at this, as it's a new venue in the capital. I have never performed with Trixee before but I hear she is fabulous. Crimson Skye performed with me in Belfast recently and she rocked. Hope the scottish burlesque crew come down to this one as it clashes with nothing and is on a saturday night in a swanky new venue (right next to waverley station). I will be partying the night away post show and hope to see y'all there. xxxx:kiss: Mr IJ
    Here he comes...

What a fabulous launch night, couldn't have asked for better performers or a more "up for it" crowd - loved it + Electric Circus is an absolutely blinding venue and tailor made for such a show!!

Trixee, Crimson and IJ went down a storm MASSIVE thanks to them for some unforgettable performances.

Next event is 25th of July (a double header with Kabarett w/Empress Stah the night before), line up details to come very soon!!

    Love y'all,
    Dee x

I second this - it was a fabulous night with wonderful performances from everyone - the acts that I saw were real triumphs (as I'm guessing Iolair and Lorraine's pictures will demonstrate as soon as they are edited and uploaded)!

I'm just sorry I only saw the first half as I was feeling seriously crappy with lurgy and had to go home early :ill: . . . gutted to have missed the second half!

    Default Va Va Vvvoom.

    Hey folks!

Was a great night. Well done Dee and co once again. A cracking venue.

I was particularly in awe of a barman in rocky horror n' eyeshadow type gear.

Then there was the guy with the mowhawk, a g string and a smile! and

    that was just the barstaff!

Its still a new venue finding its crowd, but it was very cool. Nice big stage and fancy visuals behind the DJ's playing Goldfrapp, Disco, Alternative.

The crowd were a bit new to burlesque, some of em, I reckon. But if you're after a boogie and some burlesque this seems to be your night. AND they seem to have neon karaoke booths. the DJ's were excellent. And from going there I've discovered a whole new genre of music 'Italo disco', super!

The 'moment' for me was crimson skye doing 'Crazy' in a straight jacket!

Feedback would be good as I dont normally use flash for burlesque live shots but the light from the screens behind was too much for me to get well exposed shots without it
