OT: Breast Cancer Care Fundraiser at Panopticon Music Hall this Saturday 18th July
Hi all
Not strictly speaking a burlesque event, but maybe of interest. My alter-ego Miss Leggy Pee will be providing a performance at this fundraiser, before undertaking a quick change and heading off to the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Grosvenor Cinema! Two tickets for Rocky will be up for grabs in the raffle, so you could really make a night of it.
Blurb follows!

The StrawberryJam team aim to raise £1000 for Breast Cancer Care over the course of 2009. At our first event, in April, we raised £420, putting us well on track. The second StrawberryJam will take place on Saturday 18th July - can you help us smash through our target? Expect music, comedy, prizes, cupcakes, popcorn and bunting. It's an early show, so plenty of time to go out dancing afterwards! Entertainment includes: Music from lovely singer-songwriters ANDI NEATE and MARIA LEAHY Comedy from the rather brilliant ELAINE MALCOLMSON
Additional acts and raffle prizes will be announced on the night... because we love the element of surprise! This time, we'll be giving you a proper interval, so you can stuff your faces with cake, and stuff our tins with donations. Please come along if you can, and please pass this on to everyone you know!

Aha! Now I know who you are agapanthus!!! :-)
Looking forward to tomorrow... though after tonight's Rocky Horror escapade, I'm remembering quite how full on it is, and regretting rashly agreeing to do two very very different shows on the same night....
... just as well I relish a challenge...
Keep in touch!
X
PS I'm still going to the tap classes, still can't quite keep up or quite get the steps right... but enjoying it and still smiling! yakatata!
