Thread: Va Va Voom w/ Beatrix Von Bourbon 29th August in Edinburgh

Our lovely friends at the Electric Circus will host another edition of the retro / performance spectacular Va Va Voom on the 29th of August which will star none other than Miss Beatrix Von Bourbon (in her debut performance in Edinburgh) + Edinburgh scene queen Wild Card Kitty.

Doors are 11pm (with show getting underway at 11.30pm). Advance tickets are onsale now priced £8 and are available from Ticket Scotland, Ripping Records and online via ticketweb.

The organisers at Electric Circus have more than a few tricks up their sleeves and a very special guest host has been shipped in for the occasion so keep an eye on the promo going out all over the city.

I for one am super excited to see Bea perform in Edinburgh, at long last - & it promises to be a fabulous night. I'll also be co-DJing with regular disk spinner Cat into the wee small hours. I and have been dusting off some of my rare groove, soul & rock and roll records especially for the occassion, so expect some tip top tunes into the wee small hours (5am closing - bring it on!).

What are the times for this Dee? I may see if I can fit it in between fringe shows!

oops My bad, missed out important info from the original post - all updated now V.

Start time for this is 11pm (with the show starting at 11.30pm) + dancing to the wee small ones (til 5am I think - gulp!) with retro Jump Blues, Rock & Roll, True R&B, Soul & Motown aftershow party chaired by myself & Cat.

Looking forward to this as it will be my last show of the Fringe and marks the 2 week countdown to the Kabarett 1st birthday party at Cocoon in the GRV.
