Well done Viva and all participants- despite high heels and soft grass not being a great combination, we did it! The world can-can record belongs to Glasgow. Suzuki and my good self are proud to have been a part of the great effort. Who else made it in the end?
Smouldering like the charred remnants of the British Economy.....

I did next to nothing darling, but thanks for your kind words. The crowd looked great, although they were doing it double speed (ie correct speed!) I think it would have been easier at the correct speed - the bouncing action helps you get your legs up, and it all felt a bit Irish with the hands by the sides! Oh well, it was a great day, the sun shone and we created a new world record - plus made it back to Edinburgh for Blitz Ballroom (although I interpreted Queen Bea's wartime dress code as an Irn-Bru T-shirt and trackie bottoms! Oh well.)
