Default Burlesque must-see's in New York City

    Hi there

I'm going to New York at the end of April. Woo hoo! I've been several times before, but this time want to see as much burlesque there as I can. Can anyone recommend the best clubs, nights and related retailers to go to?

    Thanks so much
    xx

I know this is a little late but I just went to New York City a couple weeks ago with a couple of leads from other performers. I ended up performing a show called Le Scandal at West Bank Cafe, which was pretty fun. I've been told that The Slipper Room is one of the major burlesque establishments there. The Box is also supposed to be a wacky place to check out.

I'm waaay late on this, but Epic Win Burlesque is based out of New York. I don't know where they perform, I've just been watching a lot of their stuff on YouTube and it's quite a lot of fun, especially for those of the nerdy persuasion.

As a NYC based performer, let me help you guys out!
The Slipper Room is closed for renovations! The show that used to be there is now at Casa Mezcal on Thursday nights at 10 pm. Its a fun variety show!
There are so many shows, it would be unfair of me to list them all here, but if anyone would like to send me a message with your travel dates, I can let you know whats going on while you're here! Hopefully you'll be around during one of the shows I produce
