I'm from Winnipeg - smack dab near the centre of the continent! Things are on a slow and steady growth here. I'd love to see a festival of some sort here, but its probably years away....

Hello Canadians! (especially Sarah, nice to see you're on here too
)
I'm an independent burlesque performer based out of Montreal and I perform with The Blood Ballet Cabaret. We do a different themed show every month and it's a kick ass mix of burlesque and circus talent. The scene here is growing (as it is all over North America it seems). We have a festival and more than one monthly show.
I had no idea there was such thing as burlesque in somewhere like Winnipeg. Amazing!
Rock on everyone! Keep it quality. Keep it interesting.

Edmonton now has three thriving troops! Representatives from all three went to the BHoF weekend in las Vegas in June and it was phenomenal! Our new reigning queen miss indigo blue is a complete doll! And I hear rumor that our new king captain Kidd will be visiting Edmonton soon! The troop scene here is getting there but Unfortunately the solo scene is non existent. However a friend of mine is planning to open a vaudeville theme venue and hopefully I can help her bring in out of town performers!
